Tracey's Letter
Dear Dennis and friends,
Hi, my name is Tracey and I come from a town in the Northern Transvaal,
about 40 km from Sun City. After a marriage of 24 years, I got divorced in
May last year, and shortly after that I relocated to Cape Town. I have
three children aged 24, 22 and 11 and they live with their dad. When I
moved to Cape Town, I had these big dreams and plans to make a wonderful new
start in a very beautiful city, and then to have my son aged 11 to come and
live with me.
Unfortunately, after a few months of struggling to find a job, I ran out of
money. I woke up one morning and decided that the only way out was to
commit suicide...

Agnes Zantsi's Story
Agnes Zantsi is a hero in our eyes. This loving grandmother was abused and
neglected as a child. At age 10 she spilled paraffin on her dress, which
caught fire and burned her from head to toe. She was neglected in this
condition until she nearly died, then spent 18 months in the hospital...
